Upper East Side : Penthouse
Upper East Side Residence. Tasteful, elegant whimsy is the order of the day for this lovely couple and their two young daughters. Jarlath created a playful retake of the classic design of Upper East Side residences. The result is a space that has a sense of lightness with a nod to tradition.
• Traditional parlor chairs covered in an elegant Maharam fabric sit atop a playful wood ring rug in the entryway, setting the stage for a home filled with both humor and refinement.
• In the living room, a colorful Kyle and Kath rug depicting an oil spill serves as the foundation for a custom JM ottoman in vintage saddle leather, a custom JM chaise, and Suite New York’s Raffles sofa in camel-colored moleskin.
• The tin-covered kitchen table, a playful take on a farm table by Conran, is juxtaposed with mid-century GioPonti chairs reupholstered in waxed green leather.
